As part of the "betting in football" investigation, 26 suspects, including former Galatasaray Sportif AŞ Vice President Erden Timur, Eyüpspor Vice President Fatih Kulaksız, and Turkey Football Federation (TFF) Director of Foreign Relations and National Teams Buğra Cem İmamoğlulları, were detained.
In a statement from the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was noted that evidence was found as a result of data obtained from the Financial Crimes Investigation Board (MASAK) and legal betting sites, open-source research, decisions of the Professional Football Disciplinary Board (PFDK), HTS analysis studies, and the examination of digital items seized from other suspects in the previous two operations.
