BMW announced that it will recall approximately 37,000 vehicles across the United States for safety reasons due to a defect detected in the steering system.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced that BMW of North America has decided to recall 36,922 vehicles nationwide due to a detected defect in the steering system.

RISK OF INJURY

In a statement from NHTSA, it was noted that unexpected movements could occur in the steering wheel while the vehicles are parked, which increases the risk of injury. Authorities emphasized that the issue could also arise while the vehicles are in motion, posing a potential risk of accidents.
