On the third day of the trial for the murder of university student Ayşe Tokyaz, who was killed by former police officer Cemil Koç and whose body was left in a suitcase by the roadside in Küçükçekmece, the court announced an interim decision, ruling that all defendants would remain in custody and adjourned the hearing to March 24 to address the missing issues.

In the hearing held at the Küçükçekmece 2nd Heavy Criminal Court, 9 detained defendants, including Cemil Koç, and the lawyers of the parties were present. Additionally, the complainant's twin sister Esra, and parents Halime and Mustafa Tokyaz were also present at the hearing.

AYŞE TOKYAZ'S TWIN SISTER GAVE A STATEMENT

During the hearing held yesterday, while the defendant Cemil Koç continued his defense, Tokyaz's brother, Abdulkadir Tokyaz, and mother Halime Tokyaz had given statements. In today's hearing, the complainant's twin sister Esra Tokyaz gave a statement.

Speaking at the hearing, the complainant's twin sister Esra Tokyaz cried herself and made the entire courtroom cry. Tokyaz said, "Cemil Koç thinks he is smart, but I sent the photo of him abusing Ayşe to my own phone. Now let him say he fell down the stairs. This is my surprise for you, Cemil Koç."

CHAOS ENSUED

After the statement, the court took a 10-minute break. During this time, the wife of the defendant C.A. said to Esra Tokyaz, "What do you want from an innocent man?" Following the chaos in the courtroom, police and gendarmerie intervened. After the break, the hearing continued with the statements of the complainant's lawyers.
