DRAFT OF THE U.S. PEACE PLAN DELIVERED TO UKRAINE
In a statement made by the Office of the President of Ukraine, it was announced that the draft of the peace plan prepared by the U.S. has been delivered to Ukraine, and it was expressed that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has identified the fundamental principles important for the Ukrainian people and decided to work on the items of the plan to end the war fairly.
ZELENSKY TO DISCUSS KEY POINTS WITH TRUMP
The statement emphasized that Ukraine has wanted to end the war from the very beginning and noted that Ukraine supports all meaningful steps and proposals to end the war. The statement said, "Since the beginning of this year, Ukraine has supported President Trump's proposals to end the bloodshed. We are currently ready to work constructively with the U.S., Europe, and our partners around the world to achieve peace," it was stated. Additionally, it was reported that Zelensky plans to discuss the current diplomatic opportunities and the key points necessary for peace with President Trump in the coming days.
"NO REAL CONSULTATION IS BEING CONDUCTED"
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated in his remarks regarding the plan that any peace plan must eliminate the root causes of the war and that there are currently no negotiations regarding the plan with the U.S. Peskov said, "No real consultation is being conducted. Of course, we are continuing our contacts. However, there is currently no process that can be defined as consultation," he stated. When asked whether President Putin has been informed about the 28-point peace plan, Peskov replied, "I have nothing to add to what I said before."
