A fight broke out with a shotgun among neighbors in the Muratpaşa district of Antalya due to a dispute over a marriage proposal. Two people were injured by the pellets in the fight. Three attackers who fled were caught and taken into custody.
In the incident that occurred around 11:00 PM on 571 Street in the Muratpaşa neighborhood of Antalya's Muratpaşa district, it was claimed that a dispute arose between two neighboring families over a marriage proposal.
FIRED WITH A SHOTGUN
As the argument escalated, M. Ç., S. G., and C. Ç. began to fire with the shotguns and pistols they brought with them. Tuncay Ş. and Demir C., who were hit by the pellets and bullets from the shotgun and pistol, were injured in their legs and arms. Following the report of the incident to the 112 Emergency Call Center, Motorized Police Teams, official and civilian units, Crime Prevention and Investigation Bureau, and Homicide Bureau teams were dispatched to the address. The teams that arrived at the given address had difficulty calming the large crowd, and additional teams were sent to the area.
2 PEOPLE INJURED
The teams initiated work in the area to capture M. Ç., S. G., and C. Ç., who escaped from the scene taking advantage of the chaos. Tuncay Ş. and Demir C., who were hit by the pellets and bullets, were taken to the hospital in the same ambulance after the initial intervention of the medical teams at the scene. During the examination conducted by the teams in the vicinity, 2 shotguns and a pistol used in the incident were seized in the garden of a house located near the scene.
3 FLEEING ATTACKERS CAPTURED
After the incident that caused the injury of 2 people, M. Ç., S. G., and C. Ç. were quickly captured and detained by the Motorized Police Teams and the regional team. While the 3 individuals were taken to the police station for questioning, the Crime Scene Investigation teams examined the seized shotguns and pistol.
