A drug investigation targeting well-known figures in the media sector is ongoing. In three separate operations conducted as part of the investigation, some familiar names to the public were also taken into custody. Notably, in the latest operations, famous individuals such as Aleyna Tilki, İrem Sak, Ezgi Eyüboğlu, and Danla Bilic were mentioned in the case. Drug operations targeting famous names in the media sector continue. The third wave of the operation took place today. 7 more suspects were detained.
Within the scope of the investigation, Eser Küçükerol was detained for the crime of 'Manufacturing and Trafficking of Drugs or Stimulants', Saadet Ezgi Eyyüboğlu for the crime of 'Purchasing Drugs or Stimulants for Personal Use', and Yiğit Macit, Mehmet Ali Gül, Gizem Türedi, and Mehmet Güçlü for the crime of 'Promoting and Facilitating Prostitution'.
During the searches conducted at the suspects' homes, a large number of devices and drug grinders were seized.
SECOND WAVE OF THE OPERATION: 4 PEOPLE RELEASED
The second wave of the operation took place yesterday. In the investigation conducted yesterday, detention orders were issued for Irem Sak, Danla Biliç, Mümine Senna Yıldız, Aleyna Tilki, Melisa Döngel, Yusuf Güney, and Cihan Şenözlü for purchasing, accepting, or possessing drugs or stimulants for personal use, or using drugs or stimulants.
Actress Irem Sak, social media phenomenon Danla Biliç, Mümine Senna Yıldız, and singer Aleyna Tilki were released after being detained.
Melisa Döngel, singer Yusuf Güney, and Cihan Şenözlü, who had detention orders against them, could not be found at their addresses. Meanwhile, during the search at the home of suspect Mümine Senna Yıldız, 5 grams of marijuana and a marijuana grinding device were seized.
Additionally, a detention order was issued for social media phenomenon Şeyma Subaşı, model Şevval Şahin, and columnist Mert Vidinli, who were found to be abroad.
19 PEOPLE WERE DETAINED IN THE FIRST WAVE OF THE OPERATION
In the first wave of the operation, 19 people, including Dilan Polat, Engin Polat, Hadise Açıkgöz, Irem Derici, Kubilay Aka, Kaan Yıldırım, Berrak Tüzünataç, Demet Evgar Babataş, Duygu Özaslan Mutaf, Zeynep Meriç Aral Keskin, Özge Özpirinçci, Feyza Altun, Derin Talu, Deren Talu, Metin Akdülger, Ceren Moray Orcan, Ziynet Sali, and Mert Yazıcıoğlu, were detained. The individuals were released after their statements and blood samples were taken.
