Famous actress Birce Akalay was stopped by police teams during a traffic operation held in Istanbul. It was reported that during the control, Akalay had alcohol in her blood above the legal limit, and her driver's license was temporarily confiscated due to driving under the influence.
LICENSE CONFISCATED AND FINE IMPOSED
According to tv100 reporter Çağdaş Evren Şenlik; Birce Akalay was caught by the radar of traffic police conducting checks in Beşiktaş, and an alcohol test was performed. The famous actress's blood alcohol level was found to be 1.12. After her license was confiscated, a monetary administrative fine was imposed on the 41-year-old Akalay.
HER NAME WAS MENTIONED IN A NARCOTIC INVESTIGATION
As part of a comprehensive investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office's Smuggling, Narcotics, and Economic Crimes Investigation Bureau, many well-known names were summoned for questioning on charges of "using narcotic or stimulant substances." Birce Akalay was among the 19 individuals who tested positive.
