Emine Erdoğan, the wife of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, visited the Yunus Emre Institute in South Africa. Erdoğan stated, "The heartfelt melodies performed by the A Cappella Music Group added a unique color to the present. I toured the National Heritage Council Exhibition and closely examined the works that bring together the cultural accumulation of two geographies within the same framework."

Accompanying President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who came to the Republic of South Africa to attend the 20th G20 Leaders Summit held in Johannesburg, his wife Emine Erdoğan made several visits and participated in programs in the city.

Upon her arrival at the Yunus Emre Institute, Emine Erdoğan was welcomed by AK Party Manisa Deputy Bahadır Nahit Yenişehirlioğlu, Yunus Emre Institute Financial and Administrative Affairs President Veysel Akarslan, and other officials.

Listening to the a cappella group's performance, Emine Erdoğan later toured the National Heritage Council Exhibition and received information about the works. The visit was also attended by Zeliha Sağlam, President of the African Cultural House, and journalists.
