The Presidency's Communication Directorate Disinformation Combat Center stated that the claims regarding "the Communication Directorate imposing a ban on access to posts related to Epstein" found in some media outlets and social media platforms do not reflect the truth. In the statement, it was emphasized that these claims are intended to mislead the public, and it was expressed that such content should not be trusted.

The Presidency of Communication's Disinformation Combat Center (DMM) announced that the claims regarding "access restrictions imposed by the Communication Presidency on shares related to Epstein" do not reflect the truth.

In a statement made from DMM's official social media account, it was emphasized that the aforementioned claim circulating in some media outlets and social media platforms contains disinformation.

"ACCESS MEASURES ARE NOT ON SHARES, BUT ON DECEPTIVE ACCOUNTS"

The statement pointed out that the access measures applied do not cover all shares related to Epstein, and it was expressed that this step was taken against accounts that disseminate misleading information aimed at deceiving the public.

While it was noted that there is a clear contradiction between the headlines and the contents used in the news in question, it was recorded that despite the news texts revealing the truth, the headlines contain intentional distortion.

DMM strongly reminded the public that they should not trust such misleading content served out of context.
