RELEASED AFTER HIS STATEMENT
Famous director Ezel Akay and his musician brother Eren Kazım Akay were detained during an operation conducted by gendarmerie teams on July 23. It was alleged that searches at the address revealed 22 cannabis plants, 1 kilo 144 grams of marijuana, and climate control systems. Among those referred to the courthouse, Ezel Akay was released under judicial control, while his brother Eren Kazım Akay was arrested and sent to prison.
