In the Bahşılı district of Kırıkkale, Ertuğrul Altan (37), allegedly beaten in a fight, fell into the Kızılırmak River while trying to leave the area. Altan's lifeless body was recovered as a result of search efforts. Two people have been detained in connection with the incident.

ATTACKED BY TWO INDIVIDUALS
The incident occurred at night in a picnic area on the bank of the Kızılırmak River on Yeşil Vadi Street. According to allegations, a dispute broke out between Ertuğrul Altan and Ö.Y. and D.Y. for an unknown reason. The argument quickly escalated into a fight, and it is claimed that Altan was beaten by Ö.Y. and D.Y.
DIED IN A DESPERATE STRUGGLE
While S.E. and K.Ö. were trying to separate the parties, Altan, attempting to leave the area, lost his balance and fell into the Kızılırmak River. After thrashing in the water for a while, he disappeared from sight.
Upon notification, health, police, and AFAD teams were dispatched to the scene. After searches around the river failed to locate Altan, an Underwater Search and Rescue team from the Ankara Provincial Police Department was sent to the area. Following approximately half an hour of efforts by police divers, Ertuğrul Altan's lifeless body was found 10 meters from the shore at a depth of 3 meters.
TWO ASSAILANTS DETAINED
Altan's body, retrieved by the teams, was taken to the Kırıkkale Yüksek İhtisas Hospital morgue for autopsy. Ö.Y. and D.Y. were taken into custody by police, while the investigation into the incident continues.
