The statement given by fashion designer and television personality Kemal Doğulu, who was questioned as part of a drug investigation, has emerged. Doğulu admitted to using marijuana intermittently in the past, while stating that he has not used any drugs or stimulants for the last one and a half years.
"I WAS USING UNTIL 1 AND A HALF YEARS AGO"
In his statement, Doğulu indicated that he used marijuana until about one and a half years ago, mentioning that he obtained this substance periodically, though not very frequently. He expressed that he sent a message to a person registered under a pseudonym in his mobile phone, claiming he did not know the person's real identity, asking for marijuana. Doğulu noted that he shared his phone password with law enforcement and believed that the relevant person could be reached through the upcoming investigation.
"FOR ONE TIME ONLY"
Doğulu also stated that he used cocaine in Istanbul at a time he could not remember the exact date, saying he did not use it again because he did not like it. He mentioned that he could not recall how he obtained the cocaine.

Doğulu, who stated that he is constantly traveling and sometimes has difficulty remembering the details of past events, reiterated at the beginning of his statement that he has not used any drugs or stimulants for the last one and a half years.
Stating that he does not have a nightlife, does not attend parties, and stays away from such environments, Doğulu indicated that he has not witnessed drug use in groups or the provision of places for this purpose. He also noted that he has no information about whether there are other people using drugs in the fashion industry.
Doğulu expressed that he has not undergone any treatment and stated that he quit using substances of his own volition.
