It was reported that Nazlıcan Çelikkaya, 19, who lost her life in an accident in Balıkesir when the motorcycle she was riding collided with a sewer truck, was a student of the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department at Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University and had just bought her motorcycle to use while commuting to the hotel where she was doing her internship.
In the tragic traffic accident that occurred in the Erdek district of Balıkesir, university student Nazlıcan Çelikkaya lost her life.
LOST CONTROL
The accident occurred yesterday around 09:00 on the Ocaklar-Narlı highway. The motorcycle with license plate 16 BJY 058, driven by Nazlıcan Çelikkaya, a student of the Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department at Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University, skidded after the driver lost control and went under a sewer truck with license plate 10 APJ 438, driven by Ufuk Y., coming from the opposite direction.
LOST HER LIFE AT THE SCENE
Upon the notification of those around, gendarmerie and health teams were quickly dispatched to the accident scene. In the checks made by the health officials, it was determined that the young girl trapped under the sewer truck had lost her life at the scene. It was learned that Çelikkaya, who resided in the Gönen district and was working at a hotel in Erdek's Ocaklar neighborhood for her summer internship, had her lifeless body sent to the Bursa Forensic Medicine Institute for autopsy procedures. The sewer truck driver, Ufuk Y., was taken to the gendarmerie station to give his statement.

It was learned that Nazlıcan Çelikkaya, who lost her life, had purchased her motorcycle a short time ago to have easier transportation to the hotel where she was doing her internship.
