Following claims that 23-year-old German international footballer Jamal Musiala, who plays for Bayern Munich, would transfer to Galatasaray, a statement came from the yellow-red club. Galatasaray stated that the said news does not reflect the truth, emphasized that they conduct their transfer work in secrecy, and asked fans to only rely on official statements.
Galatasaray Sports Club has issued a written statement regarding the recent claims about the transfer of Jamal Musiala. The red-and-yellow club announced that the news suggesting the star footballer, who plays for Bayern Munich, would transfer to Galatasaray does not reflect the truth.
"CLAIMS ARE UNFOUNDED"
In the club's statement, it was noted that there arose a need to inform the public due to deliberately circulated false news about Galatasaray recently, and the following expressions were included:
"The claims that professional footballer Jamal Musiala will transfer to Galatasaray are unfounded."
"AN EFFORT TO CREATE PERCEPTION"
In the statement, it was argued that persistently keeping these disproven claims on the agenda is an effort to mislead the public and to discredit the club's transfer efforts by creating a perception.
The club also pointed out that the individuals and media outlets spreading these speculations similarly presented unfounded claims to the public last season.
