The incident occurred on Ahmet Yılmaz Street in Yeşil Neighborhood. According to information obtained, neighbors who had not heard from Turgut Yıldız, who lived alone, for about 20 days reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center due to the heavy odor spreading from the apartment.

Upon the report, police, AFAD, and medical teams were dispatched to the address. After necessary security measures were taken, teams entered the home and determined that Turgut Yıldız had passed away.
